[Alis4311]

A couple of hours ago I began trying to crack Breakaway Personal 1.01.

I started by trying to open it in w32dasm, It made w32dasm crash, So i tried Olly instead, I got the messagebox saying that it was either compressed or corrupt.
After that I opened it in DiE 0.36(Detect it Easy) and this is what I got out of it :



So I found out that it was packed with Themida 1.8.x.x, Tried multiple Different Themida unpackers (all stating that they were working with that version of themida) and this is what i got out of 2 different ones.





So i'm basically just asking if there's anyone who could just give a hint on what i can try next?

if it's useful to anyone the OEP is 0088085A.

Where exactly can you get a file that will unpack everything from Themida protection? Or can you?

I found them on Astalavista's forum. there's also a general cracker in the crackers kit 2.

not sure if it's because i'm on vista it's not working.. but meh.. i'll just keep trying

Buddy of mine had a similar issue. Ran it through a VM'd XP Pro and it worked fine. If that helps.

No worries, he goes to MIT, I can hook you two up if you need sometime, he does a lot of similar work, and is in a few of the more respected crews I guess? I don't travel those circles my self.
